Chicago Johnny's Italian Sausage recipe is 4 generations old. Stop & think about that for a moment, 4 generations old! I've been making Italian sausage since I was 5 years old. A few times each year my father, us kids, our grandfather, my aunt & uncles would all get together at my Grandma Annette & Grandpa John's house to make somewhere between 100 & 200 pounds of Italian sausage. I learned from my father, who learned from his father, who learned from his father. My great grandfather started this recipe on the South Side of Chicago & it's become a tradition & by far the most complimented Italian sausage ever. Not for nothing, but I've even had vegetarians break down to eat this stuff; it's that friggin' good! So here is the recipe for Chicago Johnny's Italian Sausage Bread!
